The artist had gone very pale which with his white hair literally made him look like a ghost. "Don't ...feel...so good..." he gasped swaying. Before Jason could do anything, his eyes rolled back in his head and he toppled over."One thing I don't understand," Carlos began, looking up from the fire. "If we've got these Ninjetti powers, what's going to happen to our Ranger powers?"
          Dulcea sighed. The seven of them were relaxing in the ruins after yet another strenuous day of training, talking about everything and nothing. "Well, the only one whose principal powers will be affected is Billy," she replied. "The five of you draw from sources other than the Grid, and so there will be no interaction between the energies." "JT just got back," Justin's doppelganger announced as they walked through the doors. "He says he's ready whenever we are. I told him you had set down and were on your way, so Ashley and Andros are standing by with him."

Andros blinked, not so much at the mention of his name as at the presence of his own twin. Ashley's Psycho Ranger was there too, and both looked up as the doors slid closed again. The resemblance was less eerie than it had once been, and not just because he had mentally braced himself for it. They actually looked... different, somehow.

"Let's do it, then." Justin tossed the vest he had grabbed out of Storm Blaster's backseat on a console and strode over to join "Jay". "He has less time than we do. Are you guys ready?"

          "It's like with my Morphin Warrior and Zeo powers," Adam explained. "I can call on either, but I generally don't call on my Morphin Warrior powers, since they're not as strong and are useless against the Machines."

"Jesus!" Jason exclaimed to himself barely catching him before he hit the ground. He lowered Skye to the floor and thinking he was having some kind of asthma attack yelled for Billy and then, trying to remember his first aid, ripped open the artists shirt to help his breathing. The Star Crystal on his chest was blazing a violent scarlet, and the light felt solid and alive against his hands. He could not get the Star Crystal off of Skye's neck. Jason turned to call Billy again, and was horrified to see his friend in a similar state. The wolfspirit crystal around his neck glowed blood red and without warning they both appeared to go into minor convulsions.
