"Well this will make you think...he went to Aquitar--a much older civilised race than our own, learnt their science and solved a problem that has existed there for ages in a few months!" Skye paused looking at Jason speculatively "You keep a secret Jason?"

The Gold Ranger, still slightly amazed nodded. "Salad or dinner?" Skull winced as Kim elbowed him in the ribs. Soon the six Rangers were all gathered in the area where two tunnels diverged.
Kat frowned. "Do you suppose this is another test?" "Of course," he added, not as though it mattered, "JT wants it for other reasons, but there's a lot of uses for controllable access to ID space. The thing is that we can't do it without an anchor, and so far the best thing we've been able to come up with is Ranger Power. We think we can use a Ranger's link to the morphing grid to stabilize the transfer and make sure the person actually goes where you're trying to send them, but obviously that's only going to work for a really small percentage of the population. And it won't work at all for inanimate objects, so we're going to have to find something else."

"The grid works because it's extradimensional?" Andros wanted to know. "Do you need something outside of the target dimension to anchor the transfer? What if you used a third dimension as the anchor point?"

"More than likely," Trini replied. "Check for inscriptions or something."
The six spread out, and began examining the cave walls for markings. "Hey, I found something!" Cassie called. "Who's Thomas the Rymer?"
Andros frowned. "What?" The other five quickly moved to stand behind Cassie, who faced an inscription on the cave wall.
"Take the road of Thomas the Rymer," Kat read aloud. "I have no idea what that means."
"The Third Road!" Skull yelped, causing everyone to turn to him in surprise.

"Come with me." Skye lead him, limping painfully up the stairs to the spare room that he had been staying in and the study which was now his Art studio. Jason looked around at the vivid pictures, many of them of the rangers, of strange scenes on alien planets, of ordinary everyday pictures and objects. His eyes lighted on a picture of Dulcea and was captured by her piercing green eyes that seem to watch everything. Her essence seemed to shine out from the picture.
