He called Jason, and could tell immediately by the sound of his friends' voice that he knew about Kim. He didn't mention anything about his speculation, as he didn't want to get any hopes up. He asked him to teleport to the Power Chamber. He was counting on the strange bond that the two had - and to be honest, if Tommy wanted to burn his aggression off by sparring then Jason was best equipped to deal with it...and might welcome it himself, by the sound of it.

Jason flashed in a glowing stream of gold light and took one look at Billy's swelling black eye, and bruised face and then at Tommy's semi-sober condition and understood. She felt him moving closer, and was not surprised to feel a feather-soft kiss on her neck a moment later. "Linnse was predictably horrified by your choice of successors," he murmured, kissing her again. His hands slid across her shoulders, trailing gently down her arms. "I believe Tobin was secretly impressed by your actions. Overall, you have greatly simplified the position of the Defense."

For a long moment, he devoted his attention to kissing rather than speaking, and she would almost have forgiven him for leaving it at that. But he must have known what she was most curious about, for he paused long enough to whisper, "They will be able to focus on containing Kerova, rather than defending you and diverting an internal struggle between KO-35 and Elisia."

"You should have called me before you went to see him" he chastised.Entering his access code, Dex let himself into the cavernous Zord. It hadn't changed much since the last time he'd been inside it, although a few things here and there hinted that the Zord hadn't been doing much flying in the past two years. Things such as the couch in the main living area, which wasn't secured to the floor in any way. On one of the tables there, Dex found a picture of an attractive young woman, who resembled Tommy in some features. This had to be Trey's fiancee, Chelsea Oliver. Dex grinned. He didn't know the girl personally, but from what he knew of Tommy, he could see Trey's advisors being set on their ears when the match was announced.
Putting the picture down, Dex headed for the main data banks. Trey kept a journal in the Zord's computers, and Dex was one of the few people who had the access code. He and Trey had been friends for a very long time, longer than most humans would credit. They had very few secrets from each other any more. Sitting down at one of the computer terminals, Dex quickly brought up the journal program. He was tempted to read through Trey's accounts of the past two years, but he didn't really have the time. Scrolling down, he came to the last entry and began to read.

"You didn't know yourself then." Billy said feeling overwhelmingly tired as soon as there was relief in sight. Jason looked down, and Billy intuited that Jason had also taken the news badly.

"Jase, I've got to go and look into a few options...plus I am exhausted, and if I don't turn up at home soon dad is going to, in the proverbial fashion, have kittens."
