"Why can't I save her!" he called out to the incongruously clear bright sky. "I would give up every ranger power I have ever possessed if I thought it would help her for even a moment...she can't leave me! she can't!" he cried out anguished.

"I understand Tommy, I really do." Billy said feeling again the tightening of the throat as he felt his friends' pain. And if there had ever been any doubt as to Tommy's feelings for Kimberly then this...this answered it all."Shadowborg kidnapped Joyce McCormick and used her as bait to trap Drew. Drew bit, Jo rescued Joyce, but Shadowborg has Drew prisoner and Egon can't get a fix on him with the computer. Joyce has gone to talk to the Parks, and everybody else is just going a little nuts." She could feel him regarding her curiously. "Your visit to Earth included time for a thorough psychoanalysis, it seems. Did you deduce all of this in just a few hours?"

She gave her head a shake. "Just a guess... Zhane's pretty depressed. And I know Ashley and Kerone were awfully close this summer. I think I may have been replaced," she added, trying to laugh but distracted by the way Saryn's shirt clung to his shoulders.

Saryn said nothing, but his bright eyes were dark when she lifted her gaze to his. Her eyes widened as she realized what was happening. "You--you sneak!" she sputtered, grabbing a pillow from the chair behind her and throwing it at him as hard as she could. "You're doing that on purpose!"

          "So I see," Lita replied. Justin and Egon were huddled over the computers, working with Flabber and the Professor, trying frantically to find Drew's bio-signature with the scanners. So far, they hadn't had any luck. Meanwhile, JB, Ray, and Art Fortunes were laboring over the still-non-functional Dragon Borg, occasionally making some comment or another in a low tone. Jo was still out like a light, with Winston Zeddemore sitting beside her, occasionally making sure she was still breathing. And Ryan, Kaitlin, and Katie were trying to keep Roland calm. The Titanium Silver Beetleborg was pacing, and looked wound tightly enough to snap at any moment. Dex was nowhere to be seen.

"Lets get you sobered up, yeah" he said softly. For the second time Billy found himself in the odd position of shoulder to cry on, and took as long as he dared to sober him up and keep him talking. He was acutely aware of passing time, from his own tiredness, and also of the fact that it would not be long before The Machine Empire realised the uncharacteristic weakness of the team. Realistically it was only a matter of time, and the Zeo team needed their leader. To protect them both he teleported them to the Power Chamber to continue the recovery process. Plus those barbs about finding the answer hadn't hurt any less because he hadn't reacted, and damn it all....Tommy packed a hell of a punch. Jason, now Jason was the answer, but something else was nagging at him, something that Tommy had said earlier.
