"Here, take mine." Kat said before the other could even get a word in edgeways. The crystal flashed into her hands as she concentrated. Billy took the Pink Zeo shard feeling it's power pulsing like a heartbeat.

"Thanks...Kat this may leave you weak for a short time." he explained.*I know what I said.* He switched his glare back to the floor, trying not to think dark thoughts that Kerone might overhear. *It doesn't matter, okay?*

"Want to come?" Cassie was asking, the question apparently directed at Kerone. "You can help me think of a story to tell Ash's parents. Plus if you're there they won't ask me about Saryn so much," she said with a rueful grin.

Kerone smiled back, but her expression was apologetic rather than conspiratorial. "I'd like to help, but I have someone waiting for me on KO-35. I'll be late if I stay much longer."

"Whatever you need Billy...just take it!" she said fiercely. Billy rapidly hooked up the Zeo crystal and shifted the controls on the make-shift transmitter

"Here goes..." he flicked a switch and pink Zeo energy began to flow into the Blue Crystal, and pulses of sapphire energy began to crackle up and down Rocky's morphed form. Eventually satisfied Billy shut off the power and unhooked the Pink Zeo shard and gave it back to Kat.As they walked, Skull examined the buildings and people around him with a detective's eye. Eltare was certainly a beautiful place, but it wasn't anywhere he would want to live. There was a certain- lack of passion to everything.
          "They're not big on emotions here, are they?" he asked Andros quietly.
          The Kerovan Ranger smiled. "No. Eltaren culture is focused primarily on the intellect. Emotional response is to be hidden as much as possible. To an Eltaren, nothing is quite so vulgar as a display of emotion, whether joy, anger, or anything else."
          "I hope we don't have to stay here too long," Kat added. "It's like being cooped up in a hospital."
